the action began on Monday, shortly after news of the raid emerged

In Jakarta, Indonesia,

Jordanian protesters
shouted anti-Israeli slogans in Amman, the nation's capital. The
information minister called the raid a 'heinous crime' [EPA]
Israelis also held
protests on the beach at Ashdod port, calling the military action
against the Freedom Flotilla an act of piracy [EPA]
Thousands of people
took to the streets in Istanbul, Turkey, with many attempting to storm
the Israeli consulate [Reuters]
Palestinian refugees
and Lebanese leftist groups rallied in front of the UN building in

Egyptians added their
voice to mounting condemnation of the attack, which saw Israeli
